Filters

Filters allow you to narrow down the data displayed in tables, reports, and logs. PalDock uses two types of filters:

  • Large Filter – a full-featured, complex filter with multiple options
  • Small Filter – a simplified quick filter applied directly to a specific column

Large Filter

The Large Filter provides advanced filtering across multiple fields.

When you click the filter button, a submenu appears with the first empty filter row ready to be filled.

  • Fields: Field (what to filter), Operator (contains, equals, etc.), Value (one or more values depending on the field type)
  • Field categories: Since the number of fields is large, fields may be grouped into categories for easier searching

Small Filter

The Small Filter is a simplified filter for a specific column, often displayed inline with the table.
For example:

  • In Offers – List only the Small Filter is available, applied directly to certain columns.

Filtering Scope

Tables can be filtered by:

  • Displayed columns
  • Hidden columns
  • Metrics not directly available as columns
