Show rows in chart

By default, the chart displays one or more selected metrics (Highlights), each with its own color.

However, the chart also supports displaying specific rows from the table:

  • When you hover over a row, a checkbox appears.
  • After selecting one or more rows, the “Show in chart” button appears in the table header.

In Entity-Based Reports, the first 10 rows are displayed by default. You can quickly deselect them all using the deselect icon.

What happens when you click Show in chart:

  • The button changes to “Cancel display” and changes color.
  • If multiple rows are selected, all Highlights except the main one (Transactions) are deactivated.
  • If only one row is selected, the previously active Highlights remain, but the chart is filtered to that single row.
  • Inactive Highlights are shown in grey.
  • The active Highlight is shown in black.
  • A legend appears under the chart, listing the selected rows. Each row is assigned a color from the same palette as Highlights.

Specifics

  • Maximum number of rows that can be displayed: 10.
  • Selected rows also affect Export. When rows are selected, the “Selected” option becomes available.
