Import

Besides adding individual rows manually, PalDock also supports data import, which allows you to upload or update records in bulk. The Import button is available only in tables that manage specific elements.

Where Import Is Available

  • Affiliate / Advertiser
  • Commission Groups
  • Commissions
  • Conversions
  • Transactions (most common use case)
  • Offers
  • Tools
    • Structures, Integrations, Designs, Feeds
  • Settings
    • Fields
    • Tags
    • Users

How It Works

  1. Click the Import button in the table.
  2. Download the template – provided in a universal format (CSV, XLSX) and simplified for easy filling.
  3. Fill in the template with your data.
  4. Upload the file back into the system.
  5. Choose the import mode:
    • Create – add new rows
    • Update – update existing rows (requires an ID)
    • Delete – remove records (requires an ID)

Important Notes

  • Every import must contain a row ID if the mode is Update or Delete.
  • New rows will get an ID generated automatically by the system.
  • Import is especially critical for Transactions, which will be the most frequent use case.

📌 Tip: If you’re unsure, always download the template first and test with a small dataset before running a large import.
