Inherit tracking result

⚠️ This setting is only available for workspace commissions from advertisers, because partner commissions reflect those values.

Normally, every tracking request (postback or pixel) creates a Pending transaction by default, because the system doesn’t know yet whether the transaction will be Approved or Rejected.

The Inherit Result feature allows the system to automatically copy one or multiple results (Approved, Rejected, or Pending) directly from the tracking request, if that information is included there.

How it works

  • If the tracking request includes a valid result, and it’s one of the allowed values → the transaction will inherit that result.
  • If the result is not present or not allowed → a Pending transaction will be created instead (default behavior).

This feature can help keep your transaction statuses in sync with your advertiser’s system, reducing manual updates and potential discrepancies.

You might also want to check out the Auto-approve transactions feature, which approves transactions immediately without relying on status from tracking.
