By default, the chart displays one or more selected metrics (Highlights), each with its own color.
However, the chart also supports displaying specific rows from the table:
- When you hover over a row, a checkbox appears.
- After selecting one or more rows, the “Show in chart” button appears in the table header.
In Entity-Based Reports, the first 10 rows are displayed by default. You can quickly deselect them all using the deselect icon.
What happens when you click Show in chart:
- The button changes to “Cancel display” and changes color.
- If multiple rows are selected, all Highlights except the main one (Transactions) are deactivated.
- If only one row is selected, the previously active Highlights remain, but the chart is filtered to that single row.
- Inactive Highlights are shown in grey.
- The active Highlight is shown in black.
- A legend appears under the chart, listing the selected rows. Each row is assigned a color from the same palette as Highlights.
Specifics
- Maximum number of rows that can be displayed: 10.
- Selected rows also affect Export. When rows are selected, the “Selected” option becomes available.
